Healthy Honey Mustard Salad Dressing Recipe
This is the very best, healthiest weight lost salad dressing I have made to date. What makes it a weight lost you ask? Olive oil, lemon and honey!!!
It's so good I had to share it with you. The taste is delicious, light, creamy, sweet, tangy full of flavor without being overly anything just addictive because once you master the base you can add more ingredients to it per your mood, per the person or per available ingredients. Your BASE is Olive oil, honey, mustard and freshly squeezed lemon juice (1 whole) and salt & pepper.
This recipe is to taste, meaning its all about you, how you want it to taste, what do you like more, the smoothness of the olive oil, or the tangy refreshing taste of feel of the lemon juice, or do you love the warm sweetness of the honey, or the punch of the mustard?. Here is a guideline
1c Olive oil
3/4 c honey ( dijon, honey mustard, plain, brown mustard)
1/2 mustard
1 whole lemon
salt & pepper to taste
Combine everything into a mason jar if you have one and shake it well, taste and adjust. I have made this without lemon juice and it was good, the lemon though is the what steals the show so don't afraid to fly, try more or less of these foundational starters to create your own dressing from here on out, what you have in your house is better than any name brand on a shelf.
