The Meaning Of Life

Life, have you asked yourself yet? The question of what is the meaning of life, the purpose. Here is my take on what life is. There is no luck, there is life. It is balanced and necessary; for good, there is a polar opposite. For light, there is a polar opposite meaning. There are two sides to every story or two ends to a stick. I think you get where I am going. In the Bible Romans 8:28 reads, "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. This was the first scripture I committed to memory and It anchored me during times I wanted to give up. I believe the purpose of life is to live, to grow, to share, to overcome and appreciate everything, every single thing that happens for us vs thinking it is happening to us. To make lemonade out of a basket of Lemons, grow in the details and count it all Joy, count it all GOOD, to take it all in and experience everything without resistance, bitterness anger or strife. To blot out the darkness with a ton of light.

Life's Balance

Life is a delicate balance of opposites. Just like a seesaw, there are highs and lows, ups and downs and we are supposed to master it, master ourselves. Without the contrast of darkness, we wouldn't appreciate the light. Without challenges, we wouldn't savor the victories. It is this equilibrium that gives life its richness and depth. It is the equilibrium the gives us Balance.

Finding Meaning

Many people spend their lives searching for the meaning of life, but perhaps the answer lies in the very act of living. Embracing the duality of existence, the yin and yang, the good and the bad, allows us to fully experience all that life has to offer. It is through this acceptance of balance that we can find ourselves and true fulfillment. How else would you know what's inside of you if it was never drawn out by cause which is tied to effect.

Embracing Contrast

Instead of shying away from challenges or difficulties, we should embrace them as essential components of the human experience, as a reason to see what you're made of. Just as a painting is more beautiful with both light and shadow, our lives are enriched by the contrast of joy and sorrow that makes each of us rare, invaluable and unique. It is through this contrast that we learn (wisdom) , grow (strength) and ultimately find meaning (are defined).

So, the next time you find yourself pondering the meaning of life, remember that it is not a destination to be reached, but a journey to be experienced. Embrace the balance, savor the contrast, and find beauty in the complexity of existence. Life is not just about the good times; it is about the full spectrum of emotions and experiences that make us truly alive.
